Organic Valley Ghee is made by slowly simmering clarified butter to draw out excess water while keeping the nutritional benefits of pasture-raised organic butter intact. As the milk solids caramelize during simmering, the ghee develops subtle hints of sweetness and roasted nuts.
Each 7.5 oz jar is certified organic, Non GMO, Halal, and lactose free, and carries an OU dairy kosher symbol. The ingredient list is short: organic butterfat and organic butter made from pasteurized organic sweet cream with lactic acid. It contains milk.
